Lourdes Flooding |
|||||
In October 2012, Lourdes in France was flooded. More than 450 pilgrims including the sick and disabled were evacuated from the area. The water rose to 3 metres deep in front of the grotto.
In June 2013 Lourdes flooded again for the second time. The flooding this time caused more damage than the October 2012 floods. A fresh appeal for donations has been launched as the Mayor of Lourdes declared it was an economic disaster. If you are interested in donating the link below has further information.
